Acne is a problem that bothers a lot
of people, especially teenagers. It is not only a serious skin disorder but
also reduces the person’s self confidence and he/she ignores going out in
public. Generally, the acne or pimples are caused due to hormonal changes in
the body when you enter into teenage. Like many other changes in your body,
this is also a change that occurs, probably not a nice one. There are many
medications and cosmetic items available in the market for the treatment of
acne but most of these don’t work effectively. The severity of the problem
depends from person to person but if ignored then minor problem can also turn
into a serious one.
- Hygiene: It is suggested that you must wash your hands on a regular basis before having any meal as hands tend to become dirty easily. You might accidently transfer the bacteria from your hands to the skin and increase the formation of acne. If your face is affected with acne then you must wash frequently as soon as you sweat with a good face wash. You must also make sure that your clothes are neat and clean.
- Diet: The acne can be controlled by taking a healthy and balanced diet including a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables in it. Too much oily and salty food must be avoided and liquids like fruit juices must be consumed on a daily basis.
- Stress: It is very important to lead a stress free life in order to control your skin disorders. Stress can enhance acne because it can cause the body to produce certain hormones which cause and increase acne. You might engage yourself in some kind of stress bursting or sporting activity so that you can take your mind off from work and other stress related issues.
